Ian Bought a Yashica T4 !!
And then he took it to the beach and took it partying. We even took it body surfing..
Yashica started in Japan in the earlier part of the century with the initial investment of $566. They started making mechanical parts for watches. Within 4 years of precise mechanical engineering they introduced there first camera, the Yashimaflex. Sweet Lord, we would like one of those.
In 1992 the Yashica T4 multi-coated Carl Zeiss lens, fixed at 35mm hit the market at the budget price of 130 bucks. But it soon proved anything but 'Low End' ; "It was one of those rare moments in capitalist history when a business venture benefited the consumer almost as much as it benefited company." -http://collectivecamera.com/
WE GOT PROOF PEOPLE!! -JH
